Main Street Triangle - North Metra Parking Lot Signage - Board Approval
History
The Public Works Department has contacted the vendor that installs parking lot signage for Metra. The vendor (Western Remac, Inc. of Woodridge, Illinois) has sent us the cost for signage for the permanent north parking lot within the Main Street Triangle Development. The cost will be $5,923.69 which includes all signage, posts, hardware and labor to install the signs. Since it is imperative that this signage be installed as soon as possible, we have informed Western Remac to proceed with the signage and installation.
On August 13, 2007, this item was reviewed and approved by the Public Works and Engineering Committee and referred to the Board for approval.

Financial Impact
This unbudgeted expenditure will be charged to the Main Street Triangle TIF Fund. A budget adjustment in the amount of $5,923.69 will be needed.
Recommended Action/Motion
I move to approve a contract with Western Remac, Inc. of Woodridge, Illinois, in the amount of $5,923.69 for the purchase and installation of parking lot signage at the 143rd Street Metra parking lot;
And
Approve a budget adjustment to the Main Street Triangle TIF Fund in the amount of $5,923.69.
