AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ORLAND PARK VILLAGE CODE (BOARD COMMITTEES) TITLE 1, CHAPTER 5, SECTION 7 (14) AND (14-1)
Body
WHEREAS, the corporate authorities of the Village of Orland Park deem it in the best interests of the Village and its residents to amend the Orland Park Village Code with regard to Board Committees;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Orland Park, Cook and Will Counties, Illinois, as follows:
SECTION 1
That Sections 1-5-7-14 and 1-5-7-14-1 of the Village Code shall be and hereby are amended, effective May 2, 2016, to change the name of the “Finance and Information Technology Committee” to the “Finance Committee” and to change the name of the “Economic Development Strategy and Community Engagement Committee” to the “Technology Innovation and Performance Improvement Committee.”
All other portions of Sections 1-5-7-14 and 1-5-7-14-1 shall remain unchanged.
SECTION 2
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval as required by law.
