Bunratty Park Development - Bid and Quote
History
Ten (10) bids were received on February 6, 2008, at 11:00 a.m. for the Bunratty Park Development. The low bidder was The Kenneth Company out of Bolingbrook, IL at a cost of $149,730.00. $184,550.00 remains in the account for this park. The Parks Department will also purchase a Pavilion and install it in-house. We received two (2) quotes for this Pavilion, (attached). The low quote is from Reese Recreation at $13,770.00 This will leave a remaining balance of $21,050.00 for the installation.
Financial Impact
This money will come from the Parks 2008 Budget - ($184,550.00 - 023-4004-451-7080).
Recommended Action/Motion
I move to approve accepting the bid from The Kenneth Company at a cost not to exceed $149,730.00 for the Bunratty Park Development;
And
I move to authorize the Interim Village Manager to execute the contract;
And
I move to authorize waiving the bid process for the pavilion proposals;
And
I move to approve purchasing the Pavilion from Reese Recreation at a cost not to exceed $13,770.00;
And
I move to authorize the Interim Village Manager to execute the contract.
