Custodial Services - RFP Award
History
We have reviewed the RFP's for the Custodial Cleaning and have determined that our existing contractor,Total Building Service, Inc., (TBS), has proven to be reliable and responsive to custodial priorities. While TBS's proposal is slightly higher than the other three proposals being considered, the performance and reliability of services provided justify the additional expense. This is for a three year contract, 2009-2011, at a cost not to exceed $30,025 per month for each month of the three year contract, with an option for the Civic Center at $1,400 per month for each month of the three year contract 2009-2011.
Financial Impact
This money will come from the Building Maintenance, Sportsplex and Civic Center Budget.
Recommended Action/Motion
I move to approve accepting the proposal from Total Building Service, Inc. at a cost not to exceed $30,025 per month for each month of the three year contract 2009-2011; with an option for the Civic Center at $1,400 per month for each month of the three year contract 2009-2011;
And
I move to approve authorizing the Village Manager to execute the contract.
