RESOLUTION OF SUPPORT FOR THE HICKORY CREEK WATERSHED PLAN.

WHEREAS, the Hickory Creek Watershed Plan was developed in a collaborative manner with diverse stakeholder input; and
WHEREAS, stewardship of watershed resources including water quality is important to the prosperity of residents and landowners of the Village of Orland Park and elsewhere in Cook and Will County; and
WHEREAS, the Hickory Creek Watershed Plan offers reasoned guidance to urban and rural landowners and decision-makers alike for conserving the land, soil, and water resources of the Hickory Creek Watershed Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Village of Orland Park supports a collective effort to implement the projects and policies recommended in the Hickory Creek Watershed Plan.
