Townes of Orland Woods - Dedication of Private Street - Board Approval
History
On February 2, 2004, the Board of Trustees approved accepting the private roads within the Townes of Orland Woods Subdivision as public streets. With this dedication, the Board also approved not entertaining any additional requests for future dedications. In March of 2007, the Townhouse Association once again petitioned the Village Board to dedicate their street. At this time, staff was directed to accept the dedication and prepare the Street Dedication Agreement and Plat of Dedication for final approval by the Village Board (available for review at Public Works). The Village staff has reviewed the Agreement prepared by the Village Attorney and the Townhouse Association Attorney and finds it acceptable.
On January 14, 2008, this item was reviewed and approved by the Public Works and Engineering Committee and referred to the Board for approval.

Recommended Action/Motion
I move to approve the application from the Townes of Orland Woods Townhouse Association for the dedication of their private drive (Mayher Drive) to a public street at a cost of $96,096;
And
Approve authorizing the President of the Board of Trustees to sign the Agreement and Plat of Dedication and the Village Clerk to attest the signature.
