AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ORLAND PARK VILLAGE CODE, TITLE 9, CHAPTER 9, SECTION 8, PROHIBITING PARKING ON THE NORTH SIDE OF THE CURVED PORTIONS OF SILO RIDGE ROAD SOUTH AND SILO RIDGE ROAD WEST

NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED by the President of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Orland Park, Illinois.
SECTION 1
PARKING PROHIBITED. No person shall stop, stand or park a vehicle at any time except when necessary to avoid conflict with other traffic or in compliance with the directions of a police officer or traffic control devices, onthe north side of the curved portions of Silo Ridge Road South and Silo Ridge Road West.
SECTION 2
SIGNS TO BE ERECTED. Appropriate signs shall be erected to inform the public of the restrictions on parking on that portion of the roadways.
SECTION 3
PENALTIES. Any person who violates any provision of this Ordinance shall, upon conviction thereof, be fined not less than Fifty ($50.00) Dollars nor more than Seven Hundred and Fifty ($750.00) Dollars for each offense of which such person shall be convicted.
SECTION 4
REPEAL. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions hereof are hereby repealed.
SECTION 5
EFFECTIVE DATE: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication in the manner prescribed by law.
SECTION 6
ADD TO CODE: The provision of this Ordinance shall be added to Title 9 of the Orland Park Village Code.
