ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE DONATION OF MUNICIPAL PROPERTY TO THE SOUTH SUBURBAN EMERGENCY RESPONSE TEAM (LIFEPAK 500 AED)

WHEREAS, the Village of Orland Park, Cook and Will Counties, Illinois (the “Village”) is an Illinois home rule municipality; and
WHEREAS, the Corporate Authorities of the Village have determined that the Automatic External Defibrillator described in Section 2, below, is no longer necessary or useful to the Village; and
WHEREAS, the Corporate Authorities have determined to donate the said AED to the SOUTH SUBURBAN EMERGENCY RESPONSE TEAM.
NOW, THEREFORE, Be It Ordained by the President and Board of Trustees, Village of Orland Park, Cook and Will Counties, Illinois, in the exercise of the Village’s home rule powers, as follows:
SECTION 1
The above preambles are hereby incorporated into this Section as fully as if restated in their entirety herein.
SECTION 2
The donation to the SOUTH SUBURBAN EMERGENCY RESPONSE TEAM of the following equipment which is no longer necessary or useful to the Village of Orland Park is hereby approved: One (1) Model LifePak 500 AED, Serial No. 13055660, Police Department Inventory No. 2432, Village Inventory No. 08087, having a minimal market value.
SECTION 3
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption and approval as provided by law.
