Quotes were requested for the fire damage August 10, 2008, at Grasslands Park.
The cost to replace original equipment from Gametime is $42,948.45. The cost to remove and install the equipment from Fuerte Systems is $29,000.00. An insurance claim was filed. We have a $10,000.00 deductible and funds are available in the Park Fund. This is being brought to the Board for approval, noting that the Village will receive a portion of the expense back through insurance proceeds.
Financial Impact
This money will come from the Park Fund and Insurance Fund.
Recommended Action/Motion
I move to approve waiving the Bid Process;
And
To accept the quote from Gametime at a cost not to exceed $42,948.45 for replacement of the equipment;
And
To accept the quote from Fuerte Systems at a cost not to exceed $29,000.00 to remove the old equipment and install the new equipment;
And
To approve authorizing the Village Manager to execute the contract.
