Blacktop Overlay Unit Pricing - Bid Award
History
Bids were received on November 19, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. in the Village Clerk's Office for the Blacktop Overlay Unit Pricing. Two bids were received (attached). The low bidder was Matthew Paving, Inc. This work is to be performed for the Parks and Metra areas. The cost for this work is budgeted in both Metra and Parks accounts. The prices are for the three (3) years (2008, 2009 and 2010) of the contract.
Financial Impact
This money will come from the Park budgeted amount of $50,000 (283-4003-451-4350), Metra $50,000 (026-0000-498-4363, Park fund $40,000 (023-4004-451-7070).
Recommended Action/Motion
I move to recommend to the Board to approve Matthew Paving, Inc., for the Blacktop Overlay Unit Pricing Bid needed for the budgeted amounts for the three (3) years 2008, 2009 and 2010) as written in the bid specifications;
And
To recommend to the Board to approve authorizing the Acting Village Manager to execute the contract.
