Anti-Virus Software Annual Maintenance - Expenditure Approval
History
The MIS Division has included $5,940 in the FY 2007-08 budget for Symantec anti-virus software maintenance and support. Maintenance includes software support, upgrades and updates of the village's anti-virus protection software. The village uses Symantec's Enterprise wide software package, which includes protection of the e-mail system, servers, and PC desktops.
The Village receives government pricing for Symantec products through CDW Government Sales.
On December 10, 2007 this item was reviewed and approved by the Finance Committee and referred to the Board for approval.
Financial Impact
This expenditure is $375 higher than the budget estimate.
Recommended Action/Motion
I move to approve the Symantec anti-virus software maintenance expenditure in an amount not to exceed $6,313.
