Quality Concerts Production Contract
History
Quality Concerts has supplied the stage, sound and lights for the Independence Spectacular in the past. Last year, the Village Board approved a 3-year contract with them. The contract was never returned to the vendor, therefore at this time, staff requests approval to accept the three year agreement and approve the Interim Village Manager execute the contract.
Financial Impact
The rates have not increased over the last price submitted. 2008 will be the first of a 3-year agreement with Quality Concerts. Total cost each year is $6,000.
On May 12, 2008 this item was reviewed and approved by the Community Events & Outreach Committee and referred to the Board for approval.
Recommended Action/Motion
I move to approve authorizing the Interim Village Manager to execute the contract for a 3-year agreement with Quality Concerts for the stage, sound and lights supplied for the Independence Spectacular event.
