Public Hearing for Fiscal Year 2019 Budget - Discussion of PACE Community Vehicle Program - Budget Amendment
History
The PACE Community Vehicle Program (CVP) was introduced to the Board during the Public Hearing for the FY2019 Budget at the December 3, 2018 Board of Trustees meeting as a less expensive alternative due to the elimination of the PACE Dial-A-Ride transportation program.
This program would service only qualified persons with disabilities who reside in Orland Park and travel to Orland Park destinations, and complete a Village registration from, which will require proof of disability such as Illinois Persons w/Disabilities Card, ADA Paratransit Card, handicapped placard, etc.
Option 2 was selected for the operation of this 7 passenger van with lift 4 days on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, with first pick-up at 8 AM and last drop-off at 3:00 PM.
This limited service will begin after January 2, 2019.

I move to approve amending the Fiscal Year 2019 Tentative Annual Budget as previously posted to include the Community Vehicle Program (CVP) as attached.
