Purchase of Lockers for Sportsplex
History
The Sportsplex will be initiating "Prime Time" Open Gym hours in which participants will not be permitted to bring personal belongings into the gym. The locker rooms have been designated for members only; therefore, additional lockers that can be utilized by non-members/open gym participants are needed.
Staff has received a quote from Hollman Inc. for the purchase of 11, six-tier, 12" x 12" lockers with keyless security locks. This is the same vendor that has supplied the lockers in all three locker rooms and the additional lockers in the corridor near Sports Central.
Staff has requesting approval to accept the quote for the purchase and installation of these lockers (plus freight charges) at a cost not to exceed $8,000.00.
The Recreation Committee voted unanimously to recommend approval.
Financial Impact
The cost of this project will come from account 283-4007-451-6045 and will not exceed $8.000.00.
Recommended Action/Motion
I move to approve accepting the quote from Hollman Inc. for the purchase and installation of lockers (plus freight charges) at a cost not to exceed $8,000.00.
