Building Division Scanning Project
History
In the Fiscal Year 2007-2008, $8,300.00 was budgeted for the purpose of scanning closed Building Division permit files. Scanning provides an easier and faster access to building files, via Village computers. It also allows for better organization of the electronic files and enables staff to keep all of the planning, engineering, and building plans/files together. We request to waive biddings as we used this company last year and were pleased with the product and results.
Financial Impact
Funds for this are budgeted in the 07/08 budget.
Recommended Action/Motion
I move to approve authorizing the Interim Village Manager to sign an agreement with Amcad Digital Conversion in an amount not to exceed $8,300.
