Prequalified Engineering Firms - Board Approval
History
In 2004, the Village requested Statements of Qualifications from engineering firms to become prequalified to perform professional engineering services in various areas on behalf of the Village.
As you remember, the concept was to designate firms that had been identified as having expertise in specific areas and seek proposals from those firms to move projects forward. This List has not been updated since 2004. Of the thirty-one (31) original firms that were listed on Exhibit “A” (attached), twenty-three (23) firms were recommended for prequalification under fourteen (14) different functions as listed in Exhibit “B” as described in the RFQ.
At this time, it is recommended to add the firm of MW & Associates, Ltd. of Chicago, Illinois, to the list in the categories of Construction Management/Oversight, Storm Water Management, Water Utility Systems, Sanitary Sewer Collection Systems, Soil Analysis, Environmental and Surveying. In addition, there is a change to be made to the name of K Plus Engineering of Naperville, Illinois. Their new name is ESI Consultants, Ltd. (Excellence, Service, Integrity).
On March 10, 2008, this item was reviewed and approved by the Public Works and Engineering Committee and referred to the Board for approval.
