AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING SALE OF PROPERTY (THE IRISH PATRIOT - 9875 W. 143^RD STREET)

Body

WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Orland Park have approved the sale of a parcel of land in Cook County, Illinois.  Said parcel is currently a public right-of-way of 750 square feet located at approximately 9875 W. 143^rd Street in the Village for the sale price of SEVEN HUNDRED FIFTY DOLLARS ($750.00) plus all Village expenses related to the sale, and directed the Village Attorney to prepare the appropriate sale documents;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Orland Park, Cook and Will Counties, Illinois, as follows:

SECTION 1

The Village Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute, on behalf of the Village, the VACANT LAND SALES CONTRACT in a form substantially as that attached to this Ordinance as EXHIBIT A.  The Village President and Village Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute all appropriate documents and take such other action as is required of them to consummate the sale by the Village of the above-described real estate for the sale price of SEVEN HUNDRED FIFTY DOLLARS ($750.00) in accordance with the terms of the said VACANT LAND SALES CONTRACT.

SECTION 2

That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption and approval as provided by law.
