History

Staff is recommending various revisions to the tuition reimbursement policy included in the current Employee Manual, Section 6.14.  These recommended revisions are highlighted in the attached policy.  

 

The recommended revisions include setting financial limits to the amount of reimbursement an employee is eligible for.  The current policy does not include these limits. 

 

Financial Impact

Limited to maximum amount of tuition reimbursement that an employee is eligible for will assist department directors in determining how best to fit this expenditure into their departmental budgets.

 

Recommended Action/Motion

I move to recommend to the Village Board to approve revisions to the Tuition Reimbursement Policy, Section 6/14 of the Employee Manual effective January 1, 2010.
