Title

Parking Signs (Northbound on 88th Avenue from 151st Street to Dogwood Drive)

History

A resident contacted PTAC pertaining to parking on northbound 88th Avenue from 151st Street to Dogwood Drive.  According to the resident, cars parking on the east side of 88^th Avenue are blocking the flow of traffic in and out of the neighborhood, specifically during school pick up and drop off hours.

There is currently a ‘SCHOOL ZONE’ sign and multiple ‘NO PARKING PICKING UP OR DROPPING OFF THIS SIDE’ signs located on the west side of 88^th Avenue from 151^st Street to Dogwood Drive near Liberty Elementary School.  There is also an existing ‘NO PARKING PICK UP OR DROP OFF HERE TO CORNER’ on the east side of the street from 151^st Street to less than 200 ft. from the corner.

The resident is requesting that the Village extend ‘NO PARKING PICK UP OR DROP OFF THIS SIDE’ signs to Dogwood Drive on the east side of 88th Avenue.
