Stop Sign (Primrose Lane and Sycamore Drive)
History
A resident of the Catalina subdivision contacted PTAC pertaining to safety concerns for motorists and pedestrians due to speeding vehicles at the intersection of Primrose Lane and Sycamore Drive. Their family walk around the neighborhood frequency and they recently changed routes due to recent events. According to the resident, on their way home they were almost hit head on by a speeding motorist. Not only did the speeding driver, who was traveling northbound on Primrose Lane and then turning eastbound on Sycamore Drive, not yield, but the driver drove onto the incoming lane. The family had room to veer off the road, but unfortunately this isn’t the only time this has happened.
The resident is requesting a ‘Stop’ sign at the intersection of Primrose Lane and Sycamore Drive.
