Project description & Context
The petitioner intends to replace the courtyard pavers and sidewalk. In addition, the petitioner seeks to replace the statue within the courtyard.
Section 6-204.F allows for lot coverage to not exceed 45% for principal structures, pavement, and accessory structures. The lot coverage for this parcel has been calculated using Nearmap. The impervious surface on the subject lot is 1,680.49 SF while the total size of the lot is 11,155.45 SF. The impervious lot coverage on the subject site is 15.0%.
The petitioner plans to install 4 statues in the center of the courtyard (16' diameter) closest to 143rd Street. One of the statues is 4' and the remaining three statues are 3'. The statues will be light in color and constructed of solid marble weighing approximately 200lbs each. The petitioner seeks to remove and replace the existing pavers in a circular pattern
The existing three circular planting beds will remain and will not be modified for this project.
