Hey and Associates, Inc. - MSA for Landscape Architecture Services
History
The Public Works Department utilizes Hey and Associates, Inc. for a variety of landscape architecture services related to the design and construction administration of landscape, forestry, and ecological restoration projects, including site analysis, design development, construction documents, bidding assistance, and project management. Public Works is requesting to establish a Master Service Agreement (MSA) with Hey and Associates, Inc. for landscape architecture services for the years 2025-2027 with the option to extend for an additional two (2) years (2028-2029).
The Village generally establishes MSAs to promote consistency and ease of contracting so that terms and conditions do not need to be renegotiated each time a new proposal is requested from a specific vendor. Between 2019-2024, an MSA managed by the Development Services Department existed with Hey and Associates, Inc. for “Professional Architectural Services”. Although slightly different from an MSA, currently a Professional Services Contract for plan review services with Hey and Associates, Inc. is also managed by the Village’s Engineering Department.
Since 2019, Hey and Associates, Inc. has produced high quality work and provided excellent customer service to the Village. Staff from Hey and Associates, Inc. have been essential to the success of projects such as the Stellwagen Prairie Restoration, Humphrey Woods Restoration, Olde Mill Restoration, LaGrange Road Median Conversion, and Village Hall/Police Department Landscape Renovations projects. Founded in 1975, Hey and Associates, Inc. are a recognized leader in the landscape architecture field throughout the Chicagoland area.
