HISTORY
In 2017, the Board of Trustees approved the development of Gateway Plaza (2017-0124), a 10,500 square foot multi-tenant commercial building on Lot 2 of the approved Marquette Bank Subdivision (2012-0204). The tenant space that Egg Harbor Café is proposing to occupy was intended for a restaurant use and was formerly occupied by City Barbecue.
City Barbecue was approved to have awnings on the exterior of the building along the north, east, and west building façades in 2018 (2018-0199). Their awnings were in the shade jockey red and did not have any sign copy on them.
DETAILED PLANNING DISCUSSION
The petitioner is proposing to remove and replace the existing awnings on the north and west building facades. The new awnings will be the same size and in the same location as the existing awnings.
