Veteran's Commission Patriot Award - Therese Dubelbeis - Presentation
History
Therese is married with two daughters and four grandchildren. She taught elementary school for 20 years before changing careers when she and husband Tom started their own business. Therese also worked for and retired from the Village of Orland Park Recreation Department for 15 years as Administrative Assistant to the Director. Therese added to her service to others by serving on the Board of Directors of the Crisis Center for South Suburbia for 19 years making a difference in the lives of women in need of assistance. Therese continues to be dedicated to helping others by assisting the Veteran's Commission with monthly Walmart Collections, loading and unloading the donations, sorting goods donated and packing the boxes for the troops. Without volunteers like Therese the Orland Park Veteran's Commission would not be as successful as they are in sending the much anticipated care packages to our troops overseas.
