OVERVIEW AND BACKGROUND
The two-story, detached single family home is a Non-Contributing Structure in the Old Orland Historic District per Section 6-209 of the Land Development Code.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION & CONTEXT
The property currently has a square rear patio projecting from under the rear deck attached to the back of the residence. It measures approximately 9’x9’. The square patio is connected to the driveway to the east by a concrete walkway measuring approximately 13’x4’. Wrapped around both the square patio and walkway is an existing landscape bed which separates those structures from the lawn. The landscape bed measures approximately 22’ long and has a sloping design. The petitioner proposes to expand the existing back patio to 14’x 22’.
