Title
Traffic Speed Control
(Catalina Subdivision)
History
A resident in Catalina subdivision contacted PTAC with traffic safety concerns due to vehicles consistently displaying reckless driving by speeding above 40 mph, failure to yield to pedestrians, and ignoring stop signs and no turn traffic signals at various locations, specifically on Catalina Drive, Sycamore Drive and Wheeler Drive.
The resident is requesting a method for speed control, such as police hiding at numerous side roads and stopping people in a consistent manner to enforce violations. They previously suggested the installation of speed bumps and is submitting a second request for speed bumps.
