Title
Crosswalk, Pedestrian Crossing Sign, Decrease Speed Limit
(108th Avenue & Louetta Lane)
History
A resident, who has lived in Eagle Ridge II for 7 years, contacted PTAC with traffic safety concerns of vehicles speeding down 108th Avenue from 179th Street to past Stellwagen Farm making it difficult for pedestrians to cross the street to access the walking path. According to the resident, vehicles take it as a challenge to speed up when pedestrians are present and speeding has gotten worse every year.
The resident is requesting a crosswalk from Louetta Lane to the driveway of Stellwagen Farm, a ‘Pedestrian Crossing’ sign, and decrease the speed limit on 108th Avenue from 179th Street to past Stellwagen Farm.
