(Orlan Brook Drive and 152nd Street)
History
The Orland Park Police Department notified PTAC that the crosswalk located at the intersection of Orlan Brook Drive and 152nd Street is on the wrong side of the intersection. The crosswalk is currently located on the south side of Orlan Brook Drive at 152nd Street, however, the school is on the north side of 152nd Street. Having the crosswalk on the south side forces children to cross 2 streets instead of just 1 street.
The Orland Park Police Department is proposing to place a crosswalk on the north side of the intersection. A small sidewalk would also need to be installed on the east side of Orlan Brook Drive along with paint markings on the road.
