History
A resident contacted PTAC pertaining to safety concerns due to students of Sandburg High School, as well as other pedestrians, riding their bikes, electric bikes and motorcycles up and down the bike path along La Grange Road; and do not stop at the intersection of Kris Trail and La Grange Road where a bike path and the entrance to Palos Golf and Saddle Club subdivision meet. The resident has witnessed multiple close calls of vehicles hitting pedestrians when entering and exiting this subdivision on Kris Trail.
The resident is requesting either Yield or Stop signs on the bike path at the intersection of Kris Trail and La Grange Road to warn pedestrians of the cross traffic when drivers enter and exit the Palos Golf and Saddle Club subdivision.
