A resident contacted PTAC pertaining to safety concerns due to drivers exceeding the 45 mph speed limit on 159^th Street near Meadow Ridge and Century Junior High.  These schools serve students ages 8-14, including self-contained special education programs where some students may elope unexpectedly. There is no fence separating students from traffic, and children play in the front of both of the schools.

The resident is requesting that the 45 mph speed limit on 159^th Street be reduced and to install a ‘School Zone Speed Limit’ sign at 10959 W. 159^th Street.
