History
A resident contacted PTAC pertaining to their mailbox being hit and damaged multiple times at 8751 W. 163rd Street. The resident has moved the mailbox from the west side of the driveway to the east side, but their mailbox continues to get hit requiring the resident to replace it multiple times. According to the resident, drivers traveling southbound on 88th Avenue and turning left to go east on 163rd Street turn the corner too fast. Drivers cross the solid yellow lines on 88th Avenue to turn left onto eastbound 163rd Street like it is an off ramp and people on 163rd Street that want to turn right onto northbound 88th Avenue cannot or there would be a crash.
The resident is requesting Stop signs northbound and southbound on 163rd Street at 88th Avenue due to speeding vehicles knocking down their mailboxes multiple times requiring replacements.
