The Orland Park Fire Department is unable to turn their fire apparatus in the cul-de-sac on Lexington Circle when vehicles are parked. There are currently No Parking signs in the cul-de-sac. However, they are being violated regularly and the Police Department has been issuing parking tickets for parking violations.
Officers are unable to tow vehicles because there is no notice posted to tow violators. Approval by the Village Board for an ordinance would be required to tow upon discovery based on public safety and clear/present danger.
The Fire Department is requesting a “No Parking/Tow Away Zone” Sign in Lexington Circle cul-de-sac.
