A resident contacted PTAC pertaining to safety concerns due to the alarming volume of cars speeding on a daily basis on Poplar Road in the Silver Lake West subdivision, which is heavily populated with children. The submitter has requested speed trailers multiple times and although they do help, they are only a temporary solution.
The resident is requesting a permanent solution to slow down cars by installing another “Stop” sign, speed bumps or speed cameras on Popular Road near Oakdale Court.
