A resident contacted PTAC pertaining to safety concerns due to an ongoing issue of speeding vehicles on Orlan Brook Drive from 151st Street to 159th Street. According to the resident, drivers regularly ignore the posted speed limit and travel this winding street at unsafe and reckless speeds well above the posted speed limit. Because this roadway is a curving street, sometimes you cannot see other drivers coming until they are on top of you. On several occasions, the submitter was almost hit by a car while walking their dog.
The resident is requesting Speed Bumps, additional “Stop” signs or other protections on Orlan Brook Drive from 151st Street to 159th Street.
