Special Event Permit - Holly Court Block Party
History
Chris Raynor, a resident of Orland Park, has submitted a Special Events permit (attached) requesting to host a block party for up to 150 neighbors (depending on R.S.V.P.s) residing on Holly Ct. in Orland Park.
The block party is planned for Saturday, August 1, from 11 A.M. - 11 P.M. Set-up is expected to begin at 10 A.M.
All event logistics are required to adhere to Village guidelines, reviewed and approved by the Village in advance of a permit being issued for the block party.
Financial Impact
Per the Village code Title 3-9, there are no fees for residents hosting a block party.
Recommended Action/Motion
I move to approve permitting Chris Raynor, a resident of Orland Park, to host a Block Party on Holly Court from 147th Street to Highland Avenue on Saturday, August 1, 2026, beginning at 10 A.M. for set-up, and taking place from 10 A.M. - 11 P.M. contingent upon meeting all Village’s permitting requirements.
