Title
St. Michael's Revised Building Elevations
History
St. Michael Addition---Building Elevation Change
The St. Michael Addition building elevations were approved by the Board on 11/05/2007. They are returning with three proposed changes to reduce costs. (Both the previously approved plan - Option A - and the proposed plan - Option B - are included for comparison.)
1) Reduce the limestone panels to the Highland Avenue side only. This is the most visible façade. Ideally, the panels would at least wrap around the corners.
2) Eliminate window mullions in all smaller windows----they will remain in the gym. They might consider leaving them in the windows facing Highland Avenue.
3) Replace limestone coping on top of the walls and trash enclosure with aluminum coping.
It should also be noted that the previous approval gave them a choice of covering the existing gym with a new façade or not. They are choosing not to put in the new façade.
I move to amend the building elevations approved on 11/05/2007 and to approve the building elevations entitled “St. Michael Parish Center Exterior Elevations-Option B” by Newman Architecture dated 4-23-08, Project #07001.
