Chicago Tent Events LLC Change Order #3, Contract Amendment C
History
On April 1, 2024 the Village Board approved item 2024-0252, Taste of Orland Park Tents, Tables and Other Equipment to be awarded to Indestructo Rental Company, Inc. to provide tents, tables and rental supplies for Taste of Orland Park (Taste) at a cost of $19,628.00 per year, plus a 15% contingency of $2,994.20 per year for 2024, 2025 and 2026, and at the Board approved budgeted amount for 2027 and 2028.
Change Order #1 and Contract Addendum A (attached) were executed September 23, 2024 to increase the contract's do not exceed to $43,873.00 due to an increased need for tents, weights, lights, tables and chairs in support of the 2024 Taste of Orland Park.
Change Order #2 and Contract Addendum B (attached) were executed August 4, 2025 to increase the contract's do not exceed to $33,576.00, for additional tents, weights, lights, tables and chairs in support of the Taste.
On April 4, 2026 the Board approved the Consent to Assignment of Agreement from Indestructo Rental Company to Chicago Tent Events, LLC.
Staff seek approval to execute Change Order #3 and Addendum C (attached) to increase contract by $35,274.80 for a not to exceed amount of $57,847.00 for FY2026.
Financial Impact
A budget amendment in the amount of $17,847.00 will be required to fund this expense and will be included in a subsequent budget amendment.

I move to approve and authorize the execution of Change Order #3 and Addendum C with Chicago Tent Events LLC as fully presented

I move to approve and authorize the execution of Change Order #3 and Addendum C with Chicago Tent Events LLC for the rental of tent weights, additional tents, lights, tables and chairs for the 2026 Taste of Orland Park as outlined in proposal #428 to increase the contract by $35,274.80 for a not-to-exceed amount of $57,847.00 for FY 2026;
AND
To authorize the Village Manager to execute all related contracts, subject to Village Attorney review;
AND
Authorize the Village Manager to approve change orders related to this contract within the authorized amount.
