143rd Street & John Humphrey Drive Intersection Improvements - Project Update
History
Construction is temporarily delayed due to conflicts with existing underground utilities that must be relocated. This project is an IDOT contract and the Village does not have a contractual relationship with the contractor. Before IDOT's contractor can proceed with the next phase of construction, the affected utility companies must relocate their facilities outside the project construction limits. Engineering Staff are actively coordinating with the utility companies to expedite the relocation of their facilities so construction can resume.
Engineering Department will provide the Village Board with an update on the construction status of the 143rd Street & John Humphrey Drive Intersection Improvements project.
