The Village applied for and was awarded federal Surface Transportation Program (STP) funding for the 82nd Avenue Multi-Use Path Project, which includes funds for Phase II Design Engineering.
The attached agreement reflects total Phase II Design Engineering costs of $259,516.00, of which $167,040.00 is reimbursable through STP funding. The Village would be responsible for remaining amount of $92,476.00.
If approved, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Orland Park agree to appropriate and authorize the expenditure of an amount equal to $92,476.00, to pay the Village’s share of all related Phase II Design Engineering for the project improvements under IDOT Project Number RP1M(811), State Job No. D-91-166-24, Section No. 22-00089-00-BT.
Financial Impact
The Village's share is $92,476.00. There is sufficient funding in the FY2026 Engineering Capital Improvement Project Budget for the project.
