Accounts Payable Advanced Payment - July 2026 Board Meeting Cancellation
History
Due to the anticipated cancellation of the July 6, 2026, Board of Trustees meeting, staff is recommending an Accounts Payable Advanced Payment process to ensure timely payment of vendor invoices and avoid disruption to normal Accounts Payable operations.
Proposed Process: Finance will distribute the Accounts Payable voucher listing to the Village Board on Thursday, July 2, 2026, for review. Board members will have the opportunity to review the listing and raise any questions or objections regarding items included in the report.
If no objections are received, Finance will proceed with processing the Accounts Payable check run on Tuesday, July 7, 2026. If a Board member objects to any item on the voucher listing, payment of that item will be withheld pending further review and approval at the next scheduled Board meeting.
The Accounts Payable voucher listing associated with the July 7, 2026, check run will be presented to the Village Board for formal approval and ratification at the next regularly scheduled Board of Trustees meeting on July 20, 2026.

I move to approve authorizing the Advance Payment process for the July 2026 payment cycle as fully presented.

I move to approve authorizing an Accounts Payable Advanced Payment process for the July 2026 payment cycle, whereby Finance shall distribute the Accounts Payable voucher listing to the Village Board on July 2, 2026, and, absent any objections from the Board, process payments on July 7, 2026;
AND
Approve ratification of the July 7, 2026, Accounts Payable voucher listing at the July 20, 2026, Board of Trustees meeting.
