A RESOLUTION REGARDING SURFACE TRANSPORTATION PROGRAM FUNDING FOR THE 151ST STREET RESURFACING (94TH AVENUE to 82ND AVENUE) PROJECT

WHEREAS, the Village of Orland Park is a member of the Southwest Conference of Mayors; and
WHEREAS, the Southwest Conference of Mayors requires a "local match" resolution of all project sponsors according to its Surface Transportation Program (STP) Implementation Policy; and
WHEREAS, the Village of Orland Park’s 151st Street Resurfacing (94th Avenue to 82nd Avenue) Project will be considered by the Southwest Conference of Mayors for STP funding; and
WHEREAS, the Village of Orland Park is capable, willing and able to fund the required local match (20% of the total Engineering and Construction costs) during the programmed year(s).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE PRESIDENT AND BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE of ORLAND PARK, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS AS FOLLOWS:
That the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Orland Park, Cook County, Illinois do hereby authorize the expenditure of funds from the Village of Orland Park’s local funds for the 151st Street Resurfacing (94th Avenue to 82nd Avenue) Project to be funded through the Southwest Conference of Mayors Surface Transportation Program.
