RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACQUISITION OF REAL ESTATE

WHEREAS, the Village of Orland Park has the opportunity to acquire the real estate located at 17171 S. Wolf Rd., PINs 27-29-300-051-0000 and 27-29-300-052-0000, formerly known as El Cortez Restaurant (“Subject Property”) for its appraised value of $290,000; and
WHEREAS, the Village Board believes that it is in the best interests of the Village to acquire the real estate, free and clear of all liens and encumbrances, for $290,000;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF ORLAND PARK, COOK AND WILL COUNTIES, ILLINOIS that the Village take the necessary steps to acquire the Subject Property, free and clear of all liens and encumbrances, for $290,000.
