Doogan Park, Contract Amendment, Supplement #1
History
On April 6, 2026, the Village Board awarded Doogan Park, Construction contract to V3 Construction Group, Ltd (V3) for the renovation of Doogan Park. The work includes playground installation, bocce ball court installation, half-basketball court installation, drainage improvements, HMA parking lot and path resurfacing and reconstruction.
The project is close to completion, but a few additional items are requested by the Village to be added to the scope:
- Additional storm sewer to address potential standing water north of the tennis courts ($5,390.00)
- Installation of a 20' x 20' storage structure with a concrete slab foundation ($120,261.00)
- Installation of two shade structures over the baseball dugouts ($47,633.00)
The total amount of the proposed supplement is $173,284.00.
Financial Impact
The fee for additional services provided in the proposed Supplement #1 is $173,284.00. The funds will be allocated in a future budget amendment.
Recommended Action/Motion
I move to approve Supplement #1 with V3 for a not-to-exceed amount of $173,284.00, and as fully presented.

I move to approve and authorize the execution of Change Order #4 / Addendum D to the Professional Services Agreement with V3 Construction Group, Ltd of Woodridge, IL for the Doogan Park, Construction contract to increase the total not-to-exceed contract amount by $173,284.00 for the additional scope of services outlined in the attached three proposals dated 10/22/2026, 10/22/2026, and 10/26/2026 for a revised total not-to-exceed contract amount of $2,337,754.00;
AND
Authorize the Village Manager to execute all related contracts, subject to Village Attorney review.
