VILLAGE OF ORLAND PARK ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ACQUISITION OF REAL ESTATE

 

Body

                     WHEREAS, the Village of Orland Park wishes to acquire the eastern portion (Lot1, as shown on the preliminary plat attached to and made a part of this ordinance, as Exhibit A with the easement from 143rd Street) of the real estate located at 8801 West 143rd Street, Orland Park, IL., PIN 27-10-201-023-0000, formerly known as the Riviera Country Club (“Subject Property”) for $2,200,000 (Two Million and Two Hundred Thousand Dollars); and

 

                     WHEREAS, the Village Board believes that it is in the best interests of the Village to acquire the real estate, free and clear of all liens and encumbrances, for $2,200,000;

 

                     THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF ORLAND PARK, COOK AND WILL COUNTIES, ILLINOIS that the Village take the necessary steps to acquire the Subject Property, free and clear of all liens and encumbrances, for $2,200,000.
