AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 9, CHAPTER 14 OF THE ORLAND PARK VILLAGE CODE (ILLINOIS VEHICLE CODE VIOLATIONS, CITATIONS AND SETTLEMENT)
Body
WHEREAS, the Illinois legislature has recently passed several amendments adding new Sections to the Illinois Vehicle Code; and

WHEREAS, the Corporate Authorities of the Village of Orland Park, an Illinois home rule municipality, deem it in the best interests of the Village and its residents to amend the Orland Park Village Code with regard to incorporating those added Sections of the Illinois Vehicle Code into the Village Code for enforcement through the Village Administrative Adjudication System rather than through the Circuit Courts of Cook and Will Counties, Illinois.

NOW, THEREFORE, Be It Ordained by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Orland Park, Cook and Will Counties, Illinois, an Illinois home rule municipality, as follows:

SECTION 1

Title 9, Traffic, Chapter 14, Illinois Vehicle Code Violations, Citations and Settlement, Section 9-14-1, Illinois Vehicle Code Sections Adopted, is hereby amended to add the following provisions, or amended provisions, of the Illinois Vehicle Code to said Section 9-14-1:

Certificates of Title and Registration of Vehicle

5/3-401. Effect of provisions

5/3-404. Vehicles of second division carrying persons or property-Required documents

5/3-411. Registration card to be carried and exhibited on demand

5/3-413. Display of registration plates, registration stickers and drive-away permits

5/3-416. Notice of change of address or name

5/3-417. Lost or damaged or stolen cards, plates and registration stickers
