AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE WILL COUNTY STORMWATER MANAGEMENT ORDINANCE OF NOVEMBER 15, 2018, FOR THOSE AREAS OF THIS VILLAGE LOCATED IN WILL COUNTY

 

Body

WHEREAS, the Village of Orland Park is a National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) community; and

 

WHEREAS, the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the Illinois Department of Natural Resources have requested that the Village, in order to remain an NFIP community, adopt the Will County Flood Insurance Rate Map and Flood Insurance Study which become effective on February 15, 2019.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Orland Park, Cook and Will Counties, Illinois, as follows:

 

SECTION 1

 

The Village hereby adopts the Will County, County wide Storm Water Management Ordinance, including the Flood Insurance Rate Maps and Flood Insurance Study (effective February 15, 2019) as the Stormwater Management Ordinance of the Village of Orland Park for those portions of the Village located in Will County, including any Village extra territorial jurisdictional areas located in Will County.

 

 

SECTION 2

 

All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed

 

SECTION 3

 

This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption and publication in pamphlet form and the Village Clerk be and hereby is authorized and directed to publish this Ordinance in pamphlet form.
