ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 1, CHAPTER 8 OF THE ORLAND PARK VILLAGE CODE (ETHICAL STANDARDS OF CONDUCT)

Body

WHEREAS, the Corporate Authorities of the Village of Orland Park, an Illinois home rule municipality (the “Village”) deem it to be in the best interest of the Village and its residents to repeal Ordinance No. 5395 and to amend Section 1-8-6 of Title 1, Chapter 8 of the Orland Park Village Code. 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Village President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Orland Park, Cook and Will Counties, Illinois, as follows:

SECTION 1

Ordinance No. 5395 passed by the Village Board of Trustees on April 1, 2019 be and hereby is repealed and Title 1, Chapter 8 of the Orland Park Village Code is hereby amended by deleting Section 1-8-6 thereof in its entirety.

SECTION 2

This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage as provided by law.
