AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE 7, CHAPTER 4, SECTION 6 OF THE ORLAND PARK MUNICIPAL CODE (CLASS O LICENSE)
Body
WHEREAS, Section 6 of Title 7 Chapter 4 the Village Code sets forth the requirements and restrictions applicable to a Class O License (Temporary Promotional License); and
WHEREAS, it has been determined by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village that the prohibition from charging for an alcoholic beverage should be removed from the Code provision applicable to a Class O License:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Orland Park, Cook and Will Counties, Illinois, as follows:
SECTION 1
Title 7, Chapter 4, Section 6, is hereby amended in the following respect: The sentence: “There may be no charge of any kind for the alcoholic beverage” is amended to provide: “There may be no charge of any kind for the alcoholic beverage for non-profit civic events.”
SECTION 2
All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions hereof are hereby repealed insofar as they conflict herewith.
SECTION 3
This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its passage and publication in pamphlet form in the manner provided by law.
