Performance of Local Band at Museum
History
Orland resident, Rudy Perez, reached out to the museum to ask if we would be interested in hosting a free concert. They said that they have visited the museum before for presentations and enjoyed the space. Perez's kids have a rock band named "Raven," and they play cover songs, including from the bands Smashing Pumpkins, No Doubt, Nirvana, and Rolling Stones.
The important questions is if this is fitting for the museum and if our space would be able to accommodate the band.
Financial Impact
The band would be playing for free. It would be up to the museum whether or not we want to sell refreshments or charge a fee, using the opportunity as a small fundraiser.
