History
At the February 5, 2024 Committee of the Whole Meeting, the Committee advised staff to begin pursuing voluntary and involuntary annexations based on the recommendations made in 2022 updated annexation study. There were 44 properties identified in the study. Since the February 5, 2024, meeting one property has already been annexed. The Village has solicited proposals for the preparation of the remaining 43 plats of annexation.
The Village received submittals from V3 and Gewalt Hamilton Associates (GHA). Below is a per plat rate proposed by each engineering firm:

One to Five Plat(s) of Annexation - $1,950.00 Per Plat
Six to Ten Plats of Annexation - $1,700.00 Per Plat
Eleven or More Plats of Annexation - $1,500.00 Per Plat
Both proposals are attached for reference.
This is now before the Village Board for consideration.
Financial Impact
Funds are available in account 1006030.432800 to complete the request plats of annexation.
Recommended Action/Motion
I move to approve the proposal submitted by V3 Companies, Ltd., dated February 12, 2024, for up to 43 Plats of Annexation;
AND
Authorize the Village Manager to execute all related contracts, subject to Village Attorney review.
